Sannas        
Sannas are goan steamed rice cakes that is typically enjoyed with sorpotel, a widespread dish in Goa. They can be plain, the batter which contains of rice and coconut, fermented with toddy or goddachem/chunachi sannas, the batter which consists of rice, fermented toddy and s filled with cocnut and jaggery mix.

For those who don't have direct access to toddy or have less time, you can prepare sannas in a quicker way by using yeast as it cuts the time of fermentation but the taste won't be the same as the sannas fermented with toddy.
